Yacht racing has a rich history in our area and we are active, avid racers.  The Halifax River Yacht club was the sponsor of the longest continual East coast race, The Transpac race to Bermuda for many years. The H.R.Y.C. fleet celebrated its 30th year of sailing the Commdoroe Cup Regatta series this past year!  Our racing heritage lives on! Racing is alive and growing in our area.
