Today, splicing is more than a three-strand eye splice for your docklines.  Today there are many more possible constructions of line and components made from Spectra, Kevlar, Twarlon, nylon and dacron.  We are experienced  in  splcing all types.  We can splice at your boat in 3-stand & double braid, but the more exotic constructions require a sturdy attachment point, some moving room and extra tools - we do these only in our loft.  Whether you need an eye splice, end-to-end splicing or virtually any splice we are your resource when you want it done right. No matter whether fthe purpose for your line we can splice it.

Standing Rigging

We produce the majority of our standing rigging in-house  We swage wire in our loft and carry a wide variety of hardware for whatever project you tackle.  Our experience will serve you well whether replacing exisiting rigging or building a new mast.  Standing rigging lengths generally should not be taken from owners manuals for fabrication of new rigging.  The tolerences for lengths of rigging are really matters of inches - and few of them.  Connecting from point A to point B is only the first challenge.  How will that rig set when it comes time to tune the rig?  If this goes unforeseen, was your moeny well-spent to re-rig the vessel?  Our experience enables us to avoid this and a miriad of other pitfalls.  Call us for a free rigging quote!

Running Rigging

We custom splice running rigging in wire & cordage, install and do the job right.  We carry a variety of New England Ropes in dacron and nylon.  We also are carrying more and more Aramid and Polyethylene ropes from New England and other respected names in rope.  We will supply only the best.   Special orders may be necessary , but can normally be available to you at our loft within 24 hours.

Some of our work in the recent few years includes electric furling mast complimented by electric Profurl furling for the  vessels genoa and staysail.  This allows the owner to trim sail and shorten sail literally at the touch of a button!  We have designed dinghy rigs and fabricated them completely in-house.  We have completed many spar replacements - always pointing out ways to improve on existing designs, making the rig suit the boat and the owner's style.

 Mast Electrical

We install any and all mast electrical.  We are big fans of the Aqua Signal line of products for high quality and long life.  Save your batteries and retrofit any Aqua Signal Series 40 product with L.E.D. replacement bulbs!!! We can accomodate your up-the-mast electrical needs any time.

We also work with many of the electronics dealers locally to assist with installations.  This is a good practice if your rig has not been reviewed for issues in a while.  A good way to get a rigging review done while assisting with an installation!!
